《經濟通通訊社駐滬記者傅霾澈29日上海專電》如新集團的產品在國內具有一定的口碑和知名度，但其所採用的直銷經營模式則有所爭議。今年1月，《人民日報》指如新涉嫌非法傳銷，致使公司股價暴跌。3月，如新公布，因採用直銷手段銷售零售商品，且誇大產品功效，該公司被處以54萬美元的罰款。同時，6名銷售人員也因未經授權進行推銷而被處以24萬美元的罰款。
