經商局質疑直銷電話調查結果蔣任宏感到驚訝 - 香港經濟日報 (需訂閲)

個人資料私隱專員公署本月初發表人對人直銷電話的公眾意見調查結果，呼籲當局設立拒收人對人直銷電話登記冊，惟商經局質疑結果。

私隱專員蔣任宏在網誌指，本月11日收到商務及經濟發展局來信，信中質疑調查結果的準確和可靠度，又指局方無責任跟進有關建議等，蔣任宏對信件感到驚訝。

他表示，商經局反覆查考公署的調查結果數字，令人費解。他指出今次調查，與通訊辦在08年的調查，同樣是委託港大社會科學研究中心進行，調查方法已列於報告，並已公開調查方法及報告全文，他有信心公署的書面回覆，已解答商經局的所有疑問。

他透露，商經局不滿公署在調查報告發表前一天才收到副本，但他表示，公署只是向局方提交最新調查數字，並重申３年前提出的建議，不認為進行調查前，有需要預先通知商經局，認為公署的做法合適。他重申，公署運作獨立於政府架構，是私隱條例下賦予的獨立地位，公署致力堅守這價值。
