特斯拉電動車直銷生意有望在紐澤西州重新開張。Barrons.com報導，紐澤西州議會民生事務委員會5日從善如流，以4比0的票數無異議通過新法核准特斯拉電動車直銷。

特斯拉為壓低電動車售價，一反傳統跳過經銷商，並開設直營店直接將車賣給消費者，但如此作法也導致傳統經銷商串連抵制，紐澤西、密蘇里州數月前均在經銷商的壓力下禁止特斯拉直營賣車。

為解決爭議，美國聯邦貿易委員會(Federal Trade Commission，簡稱FTC)5月16日還曾發聲力挺特斯拉，認為州政府不應墨守成規而犧牲了消費者權益。

美聯社報導，特斯拉目前在紐澤西州設有兩家直營店，依據新法，特斯拉未來若要重新取得執照，將必須在當地多開設一座維修保養廠。

特斯拉股價5日於美股收盤時上漲1.43%至206.9美元，今年迄今累計漲幅達37.54%。
