個人資料私隱專員公署的調查顯示，直銷電話數量及頻繁程度有上升趨勢，9成9受訪者對於人對人直銷電話感滋擾。

私隱專員蔣任宏說，已去信商務及經濟發展局，要求修訂非應邀電子訊息條例，擴大拒收訊息登記冊的涵蓋範圍，包括將人對人的直銷電話納入規管。
